Films in Competition

We are enthusiastic to announce this year's AIFF Films in Competition. We selected from our Official Selections the films we think represent the best of our International and Independent Cinema. The finalists in Competition will be announced by early November and we will strongly encourage these filmmakers to attend the Festival and join us for our Awards Ceremony on Saturday, December 8th.

This is our opportunity to thank you for your commitment to creating the art of independent film and for sharing your work with the people of Alaska. Please give our regards to all of those dedicated people that we're instrumental in producing your film.

Films in competition are indicated in the list of Official Selections below.

Our next goal is to build our programs and list the schedule online by November 1st. In the meantime, please contact your appropriate AIFF Programming Director for more details or call our main office. Otherwise, please be prepared to send the appropriate screening format and press information.
