Snowdance features films about Alaska and by Alaskans. The program helps to define the Anchorage International Film Festival, creating connections to this place and our community. Alaska can claim a growing number of filmmakers, working in all genre of film from short animation to feature-length films. One of the intents of the Snowdance program is to encourage those filmmakers and others new to the media to create. We are proud to offer filmmakers the opportunity to show their films and to give audiences a chance to experience them. Snowdance helps to make the AIFF truly Alaskan.
