Visiting filmmakers should check in at the Festival’s hospitality suite located at the Inlet Tower. The suite will be open 11 am to 9 pm on weekends and 5 pm to 8 pm on weekdays. This is the only place to pick up your filmmaker passes and hospitality bags. The suite also has computer access and free refreshments.
We have fun stuff for you to do while you are here. Our goal is to see that you get the total Alaska and festival experience. Opening night gala, Canada Night, The Gay-la, Martini Matinee and the Awards Gala. There will also be 3 filmmaker workshops and a QuickFreeze film competition.
Special reduced hotel rates are available, see the travel info page under the filmmaker lounge for specific information.
AIFF will update this page as new information becomes available. (last update 11/14/09)
We only screen from 35 mm at the Bear Tooth. All other venues screen from DVD or BluRay. Don’t worry! Our video projection is top notch.
