Every year, AIFF holds a film competition that garners raves from rowdy crowds who cheer for their favorite videos with fun enthusiasm. Can you handle the pressure or will you freeze at the thought? This should be a breeze for veterans of the local 24 hour and 48 hour film competitions. Here’s how it works: AIFF will announce three subjects that have to be incorporated into your film. The subjects will be posted on our website and Facebook page on Sunday, December 4th at noon. The Quick Freeze screening will be Friday, Dec. 9th at 8:15 PM and you’ll then have until one hour before show time to bring your DVD to the screening. This gives you 5 days to make it happen.
Here are your three prompts for the 2011 QuickFreeze film competition:
- A tent.
- The number 11.
- Action: rolling eyes.
Films must be 5 minutes or less (including credits). The director for each film will get into the Quick Freeze screening by turning in their entry; only one free admission per film. A “grand” prize will be given out to the winner. Be Quick! Don’t Freeze…
AEDC will be announcing details of their upcoming Live. Work. Play. video contest prior to the Quick Freeze screenings.
